[EmData] Using characters within field as separator

I am trying to use bullet point characters within a field which contains
foreign language translations as a separator.
example below:
bavlna . bavlna . bawe<\#U0142>na . pamut . pamuk,nylon woven . nylon
wav . nylon wen . nylon vew . naylon wev
Rather than laying out the fields as they appear above, I need to place
the first, second, third, fourth and fifth word of each field next to
each other:
e.g.
bavlna nylon woven
bavlna nylon wav
Is there any statement which can be used to incorporate the first,
second, third and fourth bullet points as separators?
Regards,
Stephen Ball.
