Yep, you're right, it's there on the Choose File dialogue. Didn't even
look there before I encountered "the problem" - been using this product
too long, unable to look for things in new places - this will make
processing simpler -

Hi David,
Hmm, this seems to be working for me.
The file type (tab- or comma-, etc.) and range preferences have been
added to the Choose File dialog that opens when you initiate an Import
from File. So, you can enter the range as you select the data file. Or,
you can enter the range in the Range preferences, then begin the import.
Have you been trying to enter the range in the Choose File dialog, and
still find it not working?
