Should have included the newly installed InData version number:
InData for Windows, ver 5.1.3.2
Beta version was:
InData for Windows, ver 5.1.3b
Beta version operated as all past versions of InData with respect to
data range selection at import and in preferences panels -

Subject: [EmData] InData/Windows/InDesign CS3 question
We've been running the beta version of InData for Windows and downloaded
the production version this morning. Alas, the Range selection window is
"broken", i.e., we are unable to set range for import either within a
production document at time of import or through the Preferences window
when first opening InDesign CS3. At this point, once the import data
file is selected, InData simply begins merging records. This was not
occurring with the beta version, but the beta version cursor remained an
hourglass instead of switching to an arrow once the range had been
selected, which is why we finally got around to downloading the
production version.
Any help appreciated -
Also noticed that the production version did not prompt for serial
number - seems like the first time that's ever happened -
