I know that I could export all data from the document on the database, update just the needed fields and re-import all fields, but I'm not so sure all complex long-description will be preserved in this export/import process.. So.. I'm looking for a different solution .. Any Idea ? Thanks in advance Emilio -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... I'm testing it for a vehicle editing that contain further tables with prices and descriptions for each category of vehicle. I want using XCatalog on it pro version for using ODBC. Is it possible to have one table on MySQL describing vehicles categories and one describing engine listing for each category? I think that the "Y" qualifier is made for this, isn't it? It's not clear for me My first table named "Gamme" with an ID wich is the "K" qualifier and the second one named "tarifEssence" with the listing of engines My dd's set is : id[K &"MYSQL" $"Pascal" !"1268facc" D"Gamme"] Type[D"Type"] id[Y"id tarifEssence"] but it does'nt work could you help me? regards Pascal -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... I am not understanding how you can tell which prototype connects with which story. I have two text boxes, one that the text flexes from the top and the other it flexes from the bottom. Using one prototype causes them to flow regardless of the flexing set on the box. Would two stories correct this? (as i believe it should) thanks! Would you like the text to be one story ideally, but flow from a top aligned box into a bottom aligned? This shouldn't be a problem - the XData prototype shouldn't influence the properties of the box. Put your prototype in a separate box, off the side of the page. Flow into the boxes whose vertical alignment you have set and it should behave as you want. If you had 2 prototypes, you would have to keep changing the 'use story as prototype' setting depending on which one you wanted to use, but I don't think this is your problem and may be a distraction. If the above is no help, can you describe your document very carefully, and what you want to achieve? Or email it to me if you like. So don't give on them just yet. But the appearance of those other fora are interesting.
