From emma.glaisher at fourninety.com Tue Dec 12 10:40:58 2006 From: emma.glaisher at fourninety.com (Emma Glaisher) Date: Tue Dec 12 10:41:42 2006 Subject: [EmData] XData making documents slow Message-ID: I?d read about this on the Quark Forum but refused to believe it... now it?s happened to me! I have a document (an index) with the text flowed in via XData. It?s 22 pages and file size is 10mb (there are several high-res images). Every now and then, when I type into the text it is very sluggish, taking perhaps 5 seconds for the text to appear. Perhaps 50% of the time ? other times it is fine. If I hadn?t seen this mentioned elsewhere, no way would I blame it on XData ? surely once the text is on the page, XData has done its thing and has nothing to do with the file? Anyone else experience this? Or is it just an odd coincidence? Emma -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
